Most Romantic Cities For Honeymoons Part I
Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11:34AM With plenty of different people coming into Davidson & Co each day we are fortunate to hear lots of romantic engagement stories, wedding stories, and honeymoon stories. Because we are constantly hearing ideas and romantic trips, we thought that we would share a list of the top ten places to have a honeymoon, based on what we hear from our customers!
Keep in mind, these are all based on preferences, while some couples enjoy sitting, reading and having a glass of wine, others enjoy sky diving, tourist packed sites and risky restaurants! We’ve simply compiled a list of some of the places we are constantly hearing great things about!
Not surprising that Paris is the number one place to honeymoon. After all, it is the city of love! While here we recommend you walk about the Seine River and soak in the views along the banks. Also, take a tour to the cathedral Notre Dame, and don’t forget to watch the lights of the Eiffel Tower at night!
Another popular choice for honeymooners is Venice. What says romance better than a quiet, moonlit gondola ride? Aside from taking a gondola ride the beauty of Venice is simply getting lost in the city, and stopping for a glass of wine at the local wine bars along the way!
Have some suggestions for other romantic getaways? We’d love to hear your suggestions! Don’t worry we have several more of our favourites coming in the next blog!
