Ian Davidson attended the Couture Jewellery Show in Las Vegas This Weekend

Calgary, Alberta (June 6^th, 2011) – This past weekend, Ian Davidson, Owner of Calgary based custom jeweller Davidson & Co attended the high end Couture (Jewellery Show) in Las Vegas, Nevada as a buyer. Davidson searched out new designs, diamonds, gems and the latest trends in jewellery.

"The purpose of my attendance at Couture (Jewellery Show) was to be able to provide my customers in Calgary with the best and latest jewellery designs” explains Davidson. “I came to not only buy diamonds and gems but also to learn even more about the jewellery industry and see what others are presenting to their clients. Seeing the newest trends and designs is an important component when you’re involved in the custom jewellery market.”

The Couture show boasts a long list of jewellery designers that are world renowned for their designs. Included in this list is Sarah Graham, a designer in which Davidson has the exclusive distribution rights for Alberta.

 “I am honoured and excited to have been invited to such a prestigious show” concluded Davidson, who will return to the Davidson & Co. store located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this week.

Davidson and Co has been granted the exclusive distribution of Niessing Jewellery

Calgary, Alberta (March 11^th, 2011) - Today, Ian Davidson, Owner of Calgary based custom jeweller Davidson & Co. has announced the exclusive distribution rights of Niessing Jewellery throughout Calgary.  The distribution allows Davidson & Co. to display Niessing jewellery alongside their own custom pieces and showcase Niessing designs in Canada.

"I have always loved Niessing's ability to combine design and technology," says Davidson. Davidson initially heard about Niessing in New York City in the 80’s and their relationship began in the early 90’s. “Niessing produces timeless modern jewellery,” explains Davidson. “It's hard to believe that they created the original "Tension" ring over 30 years ago, and it's just as current today as it was in 1979.” Niessing is known for their creation of timeless jewellery designs and state of the art techniques.

The unique partnership will allow Davidson & Co to distribute Sarah Graham Jewellery alongside their custom jewellery.

“I met Sarah Graham in Munich at the 2010 Inhorgenta jewellery show. I was immediately attracted to the strength of the blackened steel combined with 18k gold in designs inspired by nature,” explains Ian Davidson, Owner of Davidson & Co. Sarah Graham is world renowned for using nature as an inspiration and is recognized in the industry for her unique creations of jewellery. “I’m impressed how Sarah Graham has taken an industrial metal and used it in an organic and feminine way,” says Davidson.

Davidson & Co. Custom Jeweller Opens New Store in Calgary
Davidson and Co. Opens First Store in SW Calgary to Serve Growing Client Base

Calgary, Alberta (October 30^th, 2010) – Today, custom jeweller, Davidson & Co. opened their first store. The store is located at 1238 1^st SW in one of Calgary’s fastest growing and trendiest neighbourhoods. “The store is located in a great area that is modern, trendy and that I believe has the potential to continue growing,” says Ian Davidson, owner of Davidson & Co.  

“The store will allow me to do what I love and meet with new clients to help them celebrate and show their love,” explains Davidson, “it will also allow me the opportunity to showcase some of my custom designs that may not be able to be fully appreciated online.” The store displays several of Davidson’s custom pieces including; engagement rings, weddings bands, earrings and necklaces.

Davidson specializes in creating custom jewellery to celebrate the milestones in relationships, ranging from engagement rings and wedding bands to anniversary rings and custom necklaces. He emphasizes the importance of designing the jewellery for the customer based on their lifestyle and the value of having a one of a kind piece of jewellery that was created just for you.
