How your celebration piece takes shape
- Tell Ian about the occasion. Bring your ideas, an approximate budget and any date you have in mind. Photographs of jewellery the recipient enjoys can help start the conversation.
- Explore a design together. Discuss the stone, metal, proportions and personal details. For a ring, the design process can include a resin prototype to try before casting.
- Confirm the details. Review the design, estimate and production timeline before proceeding with your commission.
Planning your gift
What if I am not sure what to make?
You can begin with the occasion and a few ideas about the person's style. The initial consultation is a chance to explore a direction with Ian.
Can I discuss a surprise gift?
Tell Ian whether you are planning a surprise or would like the recipient involved in the design. You can discuss how to approach the choices that matter for your piece.
How far ahead should I book?
Bring your celebration date to the first consultation. Timing depends on the design and stone selection, so confirm the schedule before committing to a particular delivery date.
